Gems Sales Soar To Five Year High
Sheffield’s Gems Hygiene is celebrating a clean sweep, after recording a year-on-year increase in sales, totalling 70%.
The leading supplier of cleaning and hygiene products has achieved consistent growth in terms of sales over the last five years and expects this trend to continue in 2008.
In the last year alone, Gems boosted its sales figures by 11%, surpassing its achievements in the previous two years. It recorded the highest annual increase in sales in 2004, with a rise of 22%.
Gems attributes its success to ongoing investment in its infrastructure, staff development and recruitment. This has brought about increased cost efficiency and greater customer satisfaction and retention, thanks to a next-day delivery service, call back function during busy periods and an online interactive problem solver.
